I shot a lot of footage on the Autel Evo II Pro 6k in California, New York, and Connecticut. I really enjoyed seeing the different parts of the east coast, including on boats and in congested areas. It’s definitely a high air traffic area. I received my commercial license UAS pilot’s license while shooting much of this reel; it was really an eye-opener learning to read air traffic control maps. I’ve recently come back to Hong Kong, where it’s more of a monitoring and reporting structure. I’m excited to fly commercially here in Hong Kong; I’ll post some of my favorite cinematography of Hong Kong here soon. California is an incredible place to fly. We were lucky enough to get out to Monterey on the coast to get some incredible images. I lived among the redwoods for a year in my former life, so I’m always happy to go back and enjoy the Northern California lifestyle. We also spent time in the eastern Bay Area of San Francisco. It was fun seeing it from the air – it’s amazing the number of people and the increasing density the area is developing. It’s definitely needed to accommodate the number of cars out there. However, California is beautiful and makes for great scenery anywhere you want to fly.
